ClearWater Pool Maintenance & Repair runs a small pool service business in Marin County, California. This page explains what we collect through clearwaterpools415.com and what we do with it. It is written plainly on purpose.
The short version
We collect what you type into our contact form, and nothing else. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not set cookies, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
When you fill out the request form on our contact page, you send us your name, email address, town, the service you need, and a phone number and message if you choose to add them. That is the only information this website gathers from you.
Our contact form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party service that passes the message to our email inbox. Your submission travels through their systems on the way to us. We do not control their handling of it, and their own terms govern that step.
Like nearly every website, our host (Vercel) records standard server request data such as IP addresses and timestamps for security and reliability. We do not use that data to identify or profile you.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no social media trackers. Nothing follows you around after you leave.
We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers when a page loads. Google receives the request as part of serving the font.
How we use what you send
We use your information to reply to you, schedule service, and keep records of the work we do. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
We share information only where the work requires it, for example with a parts supplier when ordering equipment for your repair, or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Service requests and customer records stay in our email and business records for as long as we need them to serve you and meet ordinary business and tax obligations. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
California residents have rights over their personal information, including the right to know what we hold and to ask us to delete it. Call or email and we will handle your request directly. There is no form to fill out and no account to log into.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging pool service. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date below.
